Spring Inspired Plaits

Its finally starting to feel like spring in England :D So what better reason to celebrate by getting in the spirit with these amazing plaits perfect for spring. I love all these different ways of making a simple plait so stylish. I think my favourite has to be Blake Lively's messy pony tail with a fish tail and I also love the Katniss Everdeen's dutch braid into a plait, you can find out how to do this here.

Photobooth - take 2 and my new hair!

Hi all, hope you are all having a really good saturday. Its absolutely freezing in England and its snowed quite a lot :/ which I'm not happy about. Anyway I wanted to share with you all my new hair. I got my hair done last week and got it coloured again. I had my bottom layer dyed a purpley-redish colour and got a full fringe (bangs) which I have always wanted to try and its growing on me :D I absolutely love my hair colour.

However it is starting to fade a little with each wash but thats normal for a reddish colour dye.  But my stylist told me about the Directions Hair colour which is a semi permanent hair colour that you can apply to your hair to top the colour up or just to add some colour to your hair. They don't damage your hair at all! and you can find the website here

VO5 Give Me Texture Instant Oomph Powder

 I heard about this product from watching Swalker's video on youtube and decided to try it out as it look quite cool and gave her loads of volume on her hair. So the power is supposed to give you loads of volume and be an alternative for backcombing and as I don't backcomb I thought it would be good to try. So you are supposed to shake the bottle to get the product to work and put some powder into your hands and apply to your hair.

Personally I don't think it works for me, it might be because I am not doing it correctly but it has no directions on the bottle and I am following steps from SWalkers video, or it could be because my hair was curly at the time and is best suited for straight her? I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it and hope it works later or if I should return it. The good thing is that it smells nice and doesn't leave white patches in your hair, as the powder is white. 

You can buy it from Boots who have a offer of buy two for £4.50 or 1 for £4.05 so it makes sense to buy to.
