I'm back!

Hey my pretties! I am so sorry for being away for so long. Things have been crazy in my life for the past few months. I basically spent all my summer reading books and trying to sort out whatever was going on in my head.

 I'm in my second year of University now :) (yes I survived the first year lol) Im hoping on getting back to blogging  regularly  and hopefully everything should be back to normal. I hope you are all well!

Spring Inspired Plaits

Its finally starting to feel like spring in England :D So what better reason to celebrate by getting in the spirit with these amazing plaits perfect for spring. I love all these different ways of making a simple plait so stylish. I think my favourite has to be Blake Lively's messy pony tail with a fish tail and I also love the Katniss Everdeen's dutch braid into a plait, you can find out how to do this here.

Nars velvet matte lip pencil - Damned

I bought the lip pencil quite a while ago in a blog sale and I absolutely LOVE IT! I love thats its matte and its so easy to apply. Its really creamy so it just glides on.

Damned is a lovely deep pink/plum colour. I have been wearing it so much during autumn and winter, when the vampie lip colour was in. This is a really good alternative for if you what to get the vampie look but don't want to go too dark.

I love the quality of the Nars lip pencils and will definitely be getting more. You can get them here :D

Mac - Shop Mac Cook Mac Haul

Hi my lovelies. Have you checked the Shop Mac Cook Mac collection. I really liked that it looks so bright and quirky. The bad thing is that it is only exclusive at Selfridges. I was in luck because I went to Manchester where they have 2 big Selfridges stores. 

So when I first saw the collection, I wanted to get the blush in Florida and get a few lipsticks but when I actually got there I surprised myself by actually not buying 2 items :D.

I bought the Blush in Restores Dazzle

So Restores Dazzle which is a cream blush is such a pretty colour. I would describe it as a pinky plum colour. Don't be alarmed by how scary it looks in the pan, trust me its a lovely colour especially for spring/summer. I love the consistency of the blush - it doesn't feel greasy at all. Just be careful because it really is pigmented so a little goes a long way!

I actually thought that Restores Dazzle was a cream blush version of Breezy but as you can see Restores Dazzle is more pigmented and its a bit more plumy.

So the second thing that I bought was Dish it up which is a lustre. I would describe it as a bright pinky violet with blue under tones. I love that its really creamy. This is my first Mac lipstick and I finally understand why there is so much hype about their lipsticks. The quality is really good and I already know that I'm going to go back for more. Below are photos of what it looks like on me.

MAC Cremeblend Blush - Posey

Hi my lovely ones. Hope you are all having a good Saturday. England is starting to warm up which I'm happy about :) Anyway I recently purchased my first cream blush from MAC which is Posey which I have heard so much about and I'm so glad I got it. Its a really beautiful colour that looks beautiful on any skin colour. Its a beautiful dark coral

What I love about it 

• Its a lovely dark coral perfect for spring 
• It doesn't feel greasy on the skin or make your face look oily. It adds a lovely dewy finish.
• It doesn't look chalky as some blushes can
• Its really pigmented thus showing up on all skin colours
• Its easily build able, so you can apply light or heavier depending on your mood 

I have no negatives about this blush and I know already that this is going to be used loads by me :D I'm really happy about the quality of this blush and as soon as I run out of this, I am definitely going to repurchase it.

Dragon's Egg - Lush review

Hello my lovelies. Hope you are all well. I wanted to share with you a really cool bath ballistic called Dragon's egg. The smell kind of reminds me of those lemon sweets with sherbet inside mixed with jasmine, which I really like. The lady at Lush described this bath bomb as a bath bomb inside a bath both inside a bath bomb.. etc. Which is a really cool idea because you get a layer of white then it goes orange and white, then a golden orange and then finally a glittery golden colour. The golden orange is supposed to resemble the dragon's fire. 

As soon as you put the bath ballistic in the bath, it froths releasing a lovely creamy bath and then towards the last layers it fizzes and lets off the popping candy!

Lush say  "Like an everlasting gobstopper, this ballistic keeps on revealing layer upon layer of surprises. It gives up its gifts in an unfolding drama, leaving you in a bath of molten gold. Along the way you will experience a firework display of colour, a fiery crackle of popping candy, a swirling landscape of creamy foam and a drift of paper dragon scales.

To complete the fantasy we rounded this off with a fragrance of sexy jasmine and uplifting citruses and bergamot. Leaves you ready to come out of your cave and soar!"

Overall I really like this bath ballistic and it lasts around 10 minutes in the bath and leaves you smelly incredibly yummy. I think this is a unisex bath ballistic because it doesn't smell to girly.

Photobooth - take 2 and my new hair!

Hi all, hope you are all having a really good saturday. Its absolutely freezing in England and its snowed quite a lot :/ which I'm not happy about. Anyway I wanted to share with you all my new hair. I got my hair done last week and got it coloured again. I had my bottom layer dyed a purpley-redish colour and got a full fringe (bangs) which I have always wanted to try and its growing on me :D I absolutely love my hair colour.

However it is starting to fade a little with each wash but thats normal for a reddish colour dye.  But my stylist told me about the Directions Hair colour which is a semi permanent hair colour that you can apply to your hair to top the colour up or just to add some colour to your hair. They don't damage your hair at all! and you can find the website here

Ok so we all know that the stylists on pretty little liars are amazing. But I had to share with you all what Aria was wearing on episode 18 season 2 (I watched some online, I couldn't wait!)
I love the Betsey Johnson poncho that she wears, its so cute and like a saddo I tried googling everywhere to try and buy it but no luck :/

What do you think of poncho? Also if anyone finds the poncho online somewhere please let me know!

TV Moment - New Girl

I wanted to tell you all about this new TV show that came on like 3 weeks ago in the UK and its called New Girl. I think its the funniest TV show that I have ever watched and I normally don't like watching anything to do with comedy because I feel as though its too forced but this is AMAZING. Its basically about this girl called Jess who caught her boyfriend cheating on her so moves out and ends up living with three guys who she easily annoys. I honestly think that Zooey deschanel is such an amazing actress.

Leap frog anyone? - Lush review

Hi guys, So my sister (who is five) has wanted the Leap Frog bath bomb from lush for quite a while after seeing the new edition of the Lush Times and we decided to go to Lush yesterday and buy it. The lady at Lush showed us how worked and we instantly loved it. It is such a fun, amazingly-smelling bath bomb. Once you put it in your bath, it instantly fizzes away releasing the most amazing aroma and making your bath all green.

What lush say "A fizzy amorous amphibian for a sexy sandalwood, rose and jasmine soak.This cheeky frog is such good fun to fizz away in the tub, leaving a bright pair of cocoa butter lips bobbling on the surface"

The frog turned into a prince! A little piece of paper came out of the frog. The lady at lush said that you either get a prince or a marriage proposal!!

Leap frog is priced at £2.75. My sister and I will definitely be purchasing lots more before they disappear after Valentines day.
